Suggest Treatment For Fracture In The Elbow

Dear Dr Amit,

I am Gulnaz, from Madison, USA. I am 32 years old. In February i met with an accident and my left elbow was fractured. Fracture was in the humerous bone just above the joint. It was a complex fracture and I had to undergo surgery on 24th of February. Steel plates and screws have been implanted. There is numbness in the little and ring finger and my doctor had the opinion that it will get cured with time. My physical therapist has noticed that apart from being numb, they are weak. Ulnar nerve seems to be traumatised. In my last visit with my doctor he was bit concerned and asked me to undergo a nerve conduction test and said I might have to go for another surgery wherein he will place the nerve in different position. I am very much worried. I live alone here and have not informed any one about my accident back home. 1st surgery itself was a nightmare for me and thought of 2nd surgery has created lot more tension. Kindly guide me. Thank you.
