Suggest Treatment For Fractures And Swelling In Ankle And Leg

Hi I broke my ankle and leg in may, my doctor told me I was going to get screws n plates,I woke up doctor said I fixed it, now my ankle hurts the skin over it burns and is all cracking, I feel my foot is set wrong,Iam unable to walk right,I turn my knee to make foot straight,I had an MRI, someone told me go get the report, I don t know what to do please help

Hi,

The surgical reduction with screws&plates is a delicate procedure.Patient needs to cooperative in postoperative care&physiotherapy.

All of your problems should resolve over a period of 4-6 months.

Till then you have to be very perticilar-regular in self care advised by the expert.Please do go &understand the report within. Normaloty seen in the scan would give you will-confidenve in hetting positive results in days to come.

Continue with medicines,physiotherapy as advised discuss the report with treating doctor &rest assured about healing.
