Suggest Treatment For Frequent Abdominal Pain For A 56 Year Old Woman
My wife is 56 years old and for the past year she has been having abdominal pain daily. She feels better when she has a bath which she can have several a day. Our doctor has no idea what it is. She gets to the point where she goes to the ER because she gets so dehydrated. I have no idea what to do. We live in an area where the medical help I feel is limited. She is not getting better and sleeps and lays down all day and night and again this has been going on for a year. She has been scoped and MRIed and CAT scanned with no answer. Any direction would be appreiated. Andy
* The basic issue of frequent abdomen pain at 56 years could be mesenteric ischemia, motility disorder or else (which can be possible with normal scope , MRI and even CT scan).
Kindly fix an appointment with me for clinical examination at my clinic, with all relevant investigations to work out in best possible way for an earliest cure.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
