Suggest Treatment For Frequent And Painful Urination

About a week ago my boyfriend and I had sex a couple of times over the course of three days. For about four to five days afterwards it really hurt to use the restroom (especially if it was a strong flow) and I started having to use the restroom much more often then usual. The pain isnt nearly as intense as it was but now there s an intense itching sensation, too. Also, when I use the restroom, I end up sitting on the loo for a long time because I keep feeling like I didn t completely empty my bladder. Please answer quickly

Hello,
Your symptoms suggest some cystitis or inflammation of the bladder and the urethra, often subsequent to the pressure effects of intercourse. Since the female urethra is shorter, ascending infections become much more common. You need to get a urinalysis and take plenty of fluids. An antibiotic along with a urinary anti-spasmodic often relieves the condition. Please abstain from further intercourse until all the symptoms are relieved. Maintain genital hygiene. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
