Suggest Treatment For Frequent Headaches, Stiff Neck And Sore Muscles
I have had headaches that occur often for the past 3 weeks. The first one was a painful throb on the right side of my head and my neck felt stiff. I was given muscle relaxers and ibuprofen. I always go to the gym and when I workout my muscles feel sore, which is normal. However. I worked out my legs on Monday and they still feel sore. I can t bend over and touch my toes. Tomorrow will be a week since my legs have felt this sore. I am concerned as I am experiencing muscle soreness, headaches, goosebumps in one area on my arms, tingling sensations /pricking feeling on legs, arms, and face. My tongue at times feels a bit numb. My doctor did said it is all anxiety but after weeks of getting new symptoms I am starting to get concerned. Should I seek a second opinion?
The symptoms seem to be related to muscle cramps. I recommend to continue the muscle relaxant such as Baclofen three times a day. I also recommend to use warm compresses for local application.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
