Hi...Can understand your concern..As per your query about loose motions in your 6 months old baby can be due to starting of weaning period when you started giving her food other than breast milk ,and also this is the period when infants starts crawling and put everything in their mouth and gets stomach infection..Watch for baby's overall development and weight is according to his age or not....My advice will be to introduce him to new foods slowly and continuing breast feeds in between.Antibiotics like ofloxacin and ornidazole combination syrup will be helpful twice a day after consulting a pediatrician ...you can give probiotics like bifilac with water and ORS to maintain hydration..Give him small small feeds in between rather than large amount......If still no improvement seen then stool culture and senstivity test will have to be done to know the other causes..I hope the information helps.Take care.
