hey, i am a healthy person normally, excersize a lot, i have a small nose problem where it bleeds easily , it also happens sometimes after excersize or eating too much or too little. today i drink 2 cups of coffee (normally i dont do that) weather is really cold but dry, i excersize. i got a nosebleed from 2 sides of my nose. it stopped after a min, but it came out from 2 holes, i am bit freaked out right now, can someone help me
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Bleeding from nose is called 'epistaxis'. It occurs due to presence of fragile blood vessels in the nasal mucosa in an area called 'Little's area'. Bleeding is commonly precipitated by dryness of mucosa or presence of infection or allergy. You need to pinch the nose thoroughly and bend in front whenever bleeding is active. For its permanent solution, you need to undergo cauterization of blood vessels either by chemical or electrical means.
