I have been urinating every 20 t0 40 minutes for last few months .No burning ,no pain. I use alcohol occasionally (only once in 2 months). I urinate after 20-40 minutes of drinking water . This become regular in this monsoon season What could cause this to happen? Which doctor should i see ? Male 25 year old
Noted the history about an young 25 year old male having frequency of urination, say every 20 to 40 minutes without any burning or pain. You should consult an Urologist. Send the urine for the tests of routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity before starting any antibiotic. Further clinical evaluation and relevant investigations will help to pinpoint the cause. Ultrasonography for urogenital system. Tests of blood for CBC, Kidney function, thyroid functions and as more would be advised. Cystourethroscopy And other investigations as would be advised from time to time to get a proper cause so that an appropriate management can be done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
