Hello,

You should try to avoid dehydration and loss of electrolytes. If you are unable to keep down large amount of fluids, then you should at least try to sip of small amount of fluids frequently. Prefer fluids with electrolytes. Like oral rehydration solution (ORS). Try not to eat solids now.

Do you have pantoprazole or Omeprazole or Rantidine at home? If so, you may take one of them now. Along with that, you may take an anti nausea/voiting pill called as Metoclopromide ( MAxalon or Reglan). If the urine output is low or if urine ketone positive, please do not delay going to hospital. If these are good and if you are able to keep down small portions of clear fluid or ORS down, you may go to see a doctor tomorrow.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
