Suggest Treatment For Fungal Infection In Groin Area
hi, I have a fungal infection in my pubic area...I saw a dr. today..it is not an std, although I did get tested for those as well ( blood and urine )...I have had this happen about four times in 10 years and the most concerning is that it appears in the same location every time....usually I ve been sick or dehydrated, possibly too much alcohol in a short period of time...Your thoughts please, Greg
For fungal infection in groin area you can take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for itching if present. You can use betnovate-c or clop-g cream for local application. Take fluconazole or ketoconazole once daily at night for at-least 5 days.
