Hello, I have had my gallbladder out now for little over a year but i am still having severe pains that feel exactly like a gallbladder attack. The pain comes on out of nowhere right between my breasts and goes all the way through to my back and it stays for anywhere from an hour to 4 or 5 hours . It almost feels like a cramp and a hot burning sensation... any ideas. Thank you
hi, the pain by gallbladder is very characteristic but must discard other issues because could be fighting against gallbladder but have a gastritis too, or a pancreatitis etc, so there are several treatment before surgery, but the only effective treatment is to take away it. Ursodeoxycholic acid, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, are some examples of non-surgical treatments.
