Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello doctor, My mother age is 48 years and she had two gall bladder stones and she has asthma too. Is the stone should be removed or not?The stone sizes are 12mm and 7mm. She has been experiencing back pain and shoulder pain. What should be done for these stones??
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history about your Mother having gall stones and asthma. Also has pain in back and shoulder, which is indicative of gall bladder infection called cholecystitis. I would advise you the following: Get her admitted. Physicians examination, treatment for asthma and fitness for surgery is needed. Once fit for anesthesia and surgery go ahead with the proper surgery.
