Suggest Treatment For Gallstones Causing Vomiting And Nausea

HiHHiHHi, I am 58 years old and have been having severe pain on my right back upper side with nausea and vomiting , dark urine and very painful when i sit or lay down . I have been dealing with this for years and when I talk to my Dr. he does not say much. I also just had a ultra sound on my gall bladder and like i suspected its gall stones (pretty severe) had also for years. I m very concerned now about kidney stones _ how do i proceed with Dr. and who do I need to see? How serious is this?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Pain in back on the side should be because of kidney stones. Gall stone normally cause pain in right upper part of abdomen & this pain is aggravated 2-3 hours after intake of food. In case of gall bladder stone removal of gall bladder is only option available.

Kidney stones can be passed in urine. passage mainly depend upon the size od stone. Other factors that influence the passage of stone are prior stone passage, prostrate size, condition of urethra, etc.
If stone doesn't pass on its own, LITHOTRIPSY is advised. In this procedure ultrasonic shock waves are given to break a large stone in smaller ones so that they are easily passed through urethra. If a person is still unable to pass stone surgery is advised.
