Suggest Treatment For Gas And Chest Pain In An Athlete
Hi, I am 18 years old, 6 foot 3 and an athlete. I have had some pretty bad gas pains in my stomach and chest and one day I left it in my chest for too long without taking care of it. Since then my chest has had a heavy feeling over the left side, I don t know if it is muscle or heart related any ideas?

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like acid reflux , chest infection , elevated uric acid level or indigestion due to gas producing food like broccoli. I would suggest you to eat light and non spicy , eat small and frequent meals , avoid taking too much protein for few days and drink plenty of water . Eat healthy like fresh fruits and green vegetables . Consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy or stool test . Doctor may also order chest X-ra .
