The current trouble sounds to be in concern with acute
indigestion problem. Guidance for better recovery:
- Drink more liquids that help in digestion
- Consume easily digestible food stuffs as whole grain, pulses, legumes and avoid all dairy fat, junk food, non veg items
- Remain ambulatory
- Engage in aerobics, swimming, walking in fresh air what ever is feasible and possible for you
- Regular YOGA and pranayam
- Control of blood sugar,
cholesterol and body weight
- Chew your food very thoroughly
- Keep the stomach empty by 25% of satiety value
- Avoid over eating and prolong fasting
- Avoid going to sleep for 2 hours post lunch or dinner
- Bulk forming laxative as Ispaghula Husk or Psyllium Bran with glass of drinking lukewarm water

Proton pump inhibitor such as
Pantoprazole or
Esomeprazole with sips of water on empty stomach
- Prokinetic agents such as Itopride or others as per the choice of your treating doctor
- Avoid smoking or alcohol if consuming
- Avoid stress and anxiety
- Maintain regular sound sleep of 8 hours
