Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am 18 years old and I have this weird gag reflex anytime I try to eat something solid. Its partially avoidable when I am really hungry, but the problem is my situation worsens in the mornings till the early afternoon. Drinking liquids is absolutely fine and I don't experience any kinds of problems whatsoever. I also have abnormal fits of cough in the morning and feel nauseous and cannot work up an appetite no matter how early I eat the previous night. Can you please help me?
Hello.I treat my patients with Omeprazol 20 mg twice a day+Metoclopramide 10 mg thrice a day when gastric reflux and nausea are the symptoms.Cough is probably secondary to reflux. Please consult your doctor for a prescription. I wish you good health. (If the answer has helped you, please indicate this)
