Suggest Treatment For Gastroparesis When GI Tract Is Shutting Down?

Hello, I have a 20 year old niece that has gastroparesis and doctors say her GI tract is shutting down. How does this affect her , as far as how she feels. She has feeding tubes and is going to the Cleveland Clinic. I don t know what to do for her or how to help her. Any information would help.

She has to change her eating habits and have to be very specific for certain food. It’s recommended for you to consult a dietitian and ask for customized diet chart according to gastro paresis.
