Suggest Treatment For Genital Herpes

I have recently been diagnosed with herpes simplex 2 I also recently experience a herpes outbreak on my genital area. I was given an anti-viral medication from my Dr.it help somewhat but I m still swollen and have sores in my vaginal area. This experience is so complicated and I m trying my best to deal with this outbreak and these symptoms I m in pain I itch something awful sometimes the sores or blisters will ooze or have leakage from them it totally embarrassing it messes up my underwear.Are there any other medications or home remedies that I can try? Please help me I m desperate to find a solution for my problem I just want these sores and blisters to go away? I miss being intimate with my significant other? S.O.S.

Genital herpes is an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus or HSV. There are two types of HSV, and both can cause genital herpes. HSV type 1 most commonly infects the lips, causing sores known as fever blisters or cold sores, but it also can infect the genital area and produce sores. HSV type 2 is the usual cause of genital herpes, but it also can infect the mouth. A person who has genital herpes infection can easily pass or transmit the virus to an uninfected person during sex.
