my mother 65 year old diagnosed as she is having glioblastoma multiforman (grade 4 astrocytoma) -multiple lesion (6-7 lesion) within frontal and parietal lobe 9 months back. at present she cannot speak or hear, hemiplegia in right limbs and very cachexic - what is her prognosis?
Unfortunately, there is not too much to be done in her clinical situation. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be tried but they do not make miracles. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neuro-oncologist and taking care of her. She needs you more than ever, as she may have only some months left.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
