Suggest Treatment For Gout-like Symptoms, Joint Swelling And Stiffness
I am experiencing gout-like symptoms although I have taken Allopurinol daily for at least two years. Are there other related diseases that can cause joint swelling and stiffness? I am fairly active (running) but do not see these symptoms as running-related. They come on from time to time, primarily in the feet, but I am currently experiencing swelling in both the ankle and knee (rt. side).

I really appreciate your concern, it is advisable to get done the final diagnosis as long as Gout is confirm because this may not be gout but it could be arthritis also or some infection may be likely, musculoskeletal condition may be likely, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
