Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Seborrheic
Dermatitis commonly known as Dandruff and common causes for it can be
fungal infection, genes, change in weather, poor hygiene conditions, poor immunity etc..
Hairfall can be seen in case if there is excess of dandruff as dandruff destroys hair follicles..
But if the hairfall is severe there can be other cumulative factors like fungal infection,
nutritional deficiency, stress, long standing illness, side effects of medicines, pattern baldness etc..
In your case it seems to be due to Nutritioanal deficiency as you are already been diagnosed with low ferritin levels..
I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and microscopic examination of the flakes along with hormonal assy, complete blood picture, trichogram, dermoscopy can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly..
For Dandruff you can be advised to apply shampoo containing
Ketoconazole, coal tar,
salicylic acid, zinc, selenium, sulfides etc..
You can also be advised to massage the scalp with steroid lotion..
You should also keep the scalp clean and avoid moisture accumulation to prevent infection..
For hairfall you can be advised to take biotin and
multivitamin supplements..
Add more of green vegetables and fruits in diet..
Massage the scalp with warm coconut oil or olive oil..
Application of
Minoxidil lotion can also be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
