My mother has rheumatoid arthritis. Her hair has been falling out and thinning for two decades due to meds. All meds/solutions are a constant concern/nightmare/fixit. One of the first on Enbrel(savior/killer) Latest recommendation for wanted thick mane is something called rheumate. Pls give pros but mostly cons for this latest answer. Just want to help her. Remember your Hippocratic oath. I don t know you but your response means a lot to me and others.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hair loss while having rheumatoid arthritis . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like genetic factor , fungal infection and hormonal changes. In your case it seems to me that the the side effects of medicine or fungal infection is responsible for hair fall. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and physical examination. Doctor may also prescribe supplements like Vitamin A ,Omega-3 , minoxidil spray , fincepia and Vitamin E . Doctor may also recommend hair transplant with HUE technique. Take Indian goose berry powder ( half spoon ) with water once a day and use olive for massage .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
