General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Hair Loss might be due to many conditions like effects of hormone testosterone or androgen, thyroid disorders, anemia and nutritional deficiency, malabsorption etc. From the history, thyroid disorders is ruled out. I advise you to take:
- Diet or supplements rich in biotin, protein, vitamins, iron and also fatty acids
- Also, if you allergic to the prescribed medication, you can then follow the different formula like 82M. They are more effective on hair and scalp. They have retinoic acid, anti-inflammatory and moisturising effects
- Repeat thyroid function test every 6 months once

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
