Suggest Treatment For Hard Boney Lump On Right Shoulder
I am 53 about 6 feet 170lbs. Work out regularly 4-6x/week, and try to eat well. Consider myself healthy. I noticed a large bump on my right shoulder where the collar bone meets the shoulder. Both shoulders have a knob like bone at the conjunction but the right should has randomly bothered me when getting up in the morning off and on for about 2 weeks. Very mild discomfort goes away within minutes and I attributed it to something I must have done at the gym. This morning in discovered the knob on my right shoulder protruding as if the boney knob had grown hard mass. BTW - just returned from a golf trip where I played 100+ holes in 5 days - had not played for the previous 2 mos. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Thoughts?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it must be shoulder pain but the reason might not be swelling like structure you see there but it could be some normal appearance and your doubt would be clear only after the clinical examination and imaging study if you ever need to do it else stop worrying hope this information helps.
