Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems that due to
injury caused by fall there has been inflammation of the soft tissues and also ruptured blood vessels leading to swelling, bruising and
hematoma formation..
As the inflammation subsides the swelling resolves while the disintegration of blood from soft tissues can resolve bruising..
While at times the Hematoma gets encapsulated and localized and becomes a firm lump that can take a longer time of about months to resolve..
In your case if only seems to be the case..
You can do alternate warm and cool compresses over the lump 2 to 3 times a day..
Apply Thrombophob gel that will help in faster disintegration of the clot..
In case if the lump does not regress in a month consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
