Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump In The Mouth

My 4 year old has a white hard lump in her mouth on the inside, I thought it was an ulcer but half of it's inside her gum and the other half is out.
I'm unsure as to what it is? She says it's sore and I have put some mouth cream on but hasn't gone away

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.....

As per your complain it seems hard lump inside the mouth over the gum that is white and tender can be due to abscess formation that can be either a gum abscess caused due to deep infection in the gums that is caused due to either food lodgement in the gums while it can also be due to tooth abscess if the gum is associated with a decayed tooth..

I would suggest you to consult a Pedodontist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can then only be done accordingly..

In case of gum infection deep scaling can help followed by antiseptic ointment massage..
In case of tooth infection root canal treatment or Pulpectomy can help..
