Suggest Treatment For Hard Painful Lump On The Shoulder

I am a 54 yr old female who ha been experiencing extreme ly tight muscle knots and pain in right shoulder area which has moved over the top of my shoulder and upper arm. I have tingling in my right hand. It s getting progressively worse and started in November. I ve had a few upper body massages which help but pain comes back again the next day. Not sure what to do next or what type of Doctor I should see.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your painful lump at the right shoulder and upper arm I am suggesting the following differential diagnosis
Myositis
Lipoma
Cellulitis
In view of this please see a surgeon for further clinical assessment and possible surgical interventional procedures
Regarding your tingling sensations at the right hand I strongly believe you have a peripheral neuropathy
Meanwhile please check your serum thiamine level
Moreover see a physician with the result as well as adequate drug prescription
I hope this helps
