Suggest Treatment For Hardening Of Arteries In Abdominal Aorta
Hello! I have been on xanax for 15 years and these past 2, years up to 3 mg. daily. I have smoked for 30 years, I am 56 years of age and just diagnosed with hardening of arteries in my abdominal aorta moderate to severe. Doctor now wants me to take 40 mg. of statin Lipitor which I will not!!! I have quit smoking a week now and have changed my diet! How did my doctor not see these condition years ago with labs and inflammation results coming back positive, I just happened across this diagnoses with a lower back X-Ray from pain I was having. . .i would have changed my life style. But will not take xanax and lipitor together as they both have affect on liver. And need to taper off xanax slowly as I am tolerant to them. Would Curcumin with Tumeric be a good move instead of statin to help my arteries which I believe was from all my years of smoking?
