so yesterday I felt the back of my skull and it felt like there were two pieces of skull (left and right) that were protruding out more than normal creating a deep valley between the two sides. At first I thought it was how it has always felt but today I feel it and there is definitely not the deep valley that there was yesterday. I thought it might be something similar to an ear infection or sinus infection where something that feels boney gets enlarged abnormally but I have yet to see something that describes what it felt like yesterday. Any insight would be appreciated
For a case of head injury, you should always mention these things. Any history of -Loss of Consciousness -Vomitings -Ear, nose, and throat bleeding. -Urinary or bowel incontinence after head injury. -Seizure activity after head injury -Altered/blurred vision and speech variation.
The above said any one or more than one is present then it is a very worrying thing and condition could become bad. So in your history, as you didn't mention any such complaints. I hope there is no such complaints and just a swelling. Your swelling will subside but it will take a few weeks. Coming to your sinus or ear infection, Do you have any such so conditions in your past history then please consult an ENT surgeon for it?
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
