I hit my head hard last night on the car door. The left side a little above and to the left of the eyebrow A bump came up at the site pretty quickly but has gone down. I did not get knocked out or black out - I had no issues sleeping last night
I have no sickness or headache but the spot is very tender!
Also I have a presuure feeling at the top of my head not near the injury - I also have sinus so that could explin the pressure feeling at the top.
What do you think

Emergency Medicine Specialist, Dr. Prathap's Response
Hi.. Even though you had no sudden symptoms of head injury u need to observe for signs of head injury like loss of consciousness, vomiting, seizures, ear/nasal bleed, giddiness, severe headiness for 48 hrs from the time of injury. pressure over your top of your head is likely due to CSF fluid (fluid in the brain) displacement within the skull bone which will gradually subside over a week. pressure over the head is very unlikely due to sinusitis (infection of sinus) following trauma.
