Suggest Treatment For Head Injury

I fell and hit my head today while playing lacrosse. I'm fine now - not dizzy at all, and managed to get back on the pitch 10 mins later and play a 1hr game. But it seemed to block up my right ear, and it is painful to chew/bite. I virtually can't. Please help! Thank you!

Good question.

The first thing I think of when it comes to this is hemotympanum, which is also known as blood behind the right eardrum. Or, it would be a temporalis muscle spasm which extends from the temple area down to the mandible, which explains why it is tough to chew/bite. Always go to the ER if your symptoms worsen.

Cheers.
