Suggest Treatment For Headache, Abdominal And Leg Pain
Dear Sir, My daughter is suffering from headache, abdomen pain, both legs pain & very low appetite from 25 days (1st doctor find typhoid TLD 12000 & Typho value 1:80) advise typhoid & taken 1weak medicine then 2nd doctor says no Typhoid - all medical test should be done & advise may be viral but there is no improvement. Kindly let us know, what is the problem?
I have gone through the reports you have mentioned. The typhoid titer of 1:80 is not suggestive of typhoid fever. So I also don't think your daughter is having typhoid.
Yes, possibility of viral infection is more likely. So tell your daughter to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Drink plenty of fluids orally, oral rehydration solution (ORS) and fruit juice.
2. Start probiotic tablets.
3. Give her paracetamol for pain relief.
She will mostly improve with all these in 2-3 days.
If not improving then get done repeat blood reports and ultrasound abdomen.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar,
Pulmonologist
