I have been having a headache for the past 24 hours now. It feels like a rubber band wrapped around my head. I normally take a BC powered and am fine. I get headaches often. This one is persisting more than usual. It comes in waves. I am also have some abdominal pain. Is this just a migraine that I m over reacting too? or is could it be something more?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Based on your description, it appears that your headache could fall into either migraine or due to sinus. Kindly consult ENT specialist for clinical evaluation. Even headache could occur at regular intervals if you have refractory errors. Kindly consult Ophthalmologist for eye check-up. Accordingly, treatment can be given. You can take an ultrasound scan of abdomen and consult Physician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran. S.
