Hi, I had a viral thing about 3 weeks ago that included a diffused rash from neck down to mid-thigh, fever, headache, sore throat and extreme fatigue. A week ago the rash subsided, the fever only lasted about 24hrs and now I am still left with a headache and sore throat that begins in the early evening, come morning the headache and sore throat is gone.... I am stumped! Do you have any ideas?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms of the viral infection usually last from a week to ten day. if the last more,as in your case, a physical examination is needed for further evaluation. A cycle of antibiotics may be needed to treat the sore throat. Meanwhile,I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the headache
Hope my answer was helpful.
