Suggest Treatment For Headache And Tingling Sensations In The Chest

I was fixing drinks for my grandchildren when suddenly I lost use of my right arm, my lips went numb and tingling and my chest got tight. It only lasted for several minutes then afterwards I had a slight headache, felt weak. Is this something I should follow up with my doctor? Since the episode I just haven t felt good, very tired, headaches, tightness in chest.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. The episode appears like a mild stroke (referred as Transient Ischemic Attack TIA). This tends resolve in a few minutes to few hours. It can be a warning sign, so do not ignore it. If you have high BP or diabetes please see that both these are well controlled. Particularly BP should be strictly controlled (130/80 mm Hg). So please consult your doctor as early as possible. Take care. Thanks
