Suggest Treatment For Headache, Dizziness And Nausea

My 12 year old daughter is complaining of headache, dizziness, nausea (not all the time) and problems finding words. She denies any hit to her head, but a friend said she took an elbow to the head in a recent basketball game. I m thinking concussion, but could it be something else?

Hi,

It looks like a concussion but I think you need to see your doctor to do a full neurological examination to see and evaluate if there is any need to do imaging like MRI brain or CT scan brain.

In the meantime, she needs proper rest until seen by a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
