Suggest Treatment For Headache, Dry Throat, Fatigue And Swallowing Difficulty
Hi,,,I t started w a headache last night then overnight my throat got very dry and this morning I wasn t feeling great but don t have paid sick time so went to work (hairstylist) and as the day went on my throats became progressively worse and by 5 pm I couldn t swallow and felt pressure in my ears as well. Also now have body aches & chills-not sure about a fever but am severely fatigued. What do I have and should I see a doctor?
Hi, You seem to have sore throat. It can be caused by viral or bacterial agents which can be differentiated based on your temperature levels, throat examination and other physical findings. Based on your explanation, it seems more likely that you have a bacterial infection. It can be treated with antibiotics, and this is another reason why you need to see your doctor. He will give you the prescription, and based on your medical history he will know what antibiotic will work better for you. You will also need to use ibuprofen and other local spray analgesics. Meanwhile, don't eat or drink hot food/drink. It may worsen your condition. I hope I have answered your question. Wish you good health.
