Suggest Treatment For Headache, Fever And Cold Sweats
hi my name is danny i have been thinking about going to th E.R. but i have alot of medical expenses already so just dont want to go if not neccessary, anyway i have a huge growth just below my belly and just above my pubic area, very very sore and tender, with little scabs and blisters all over the area. i accidently scratched one of the scabs and was filled with puss. feels about the size of a golf ball inside the affected area, very red and hot to the touch. i have had headache and fever, hot and cold sweats, about the third day it was there. can u help me?? OH SHOULD HAVE KNOWN U WANT MONEY FOR AN ANSWER, DAMN HOW STUPID OF ME TO THINK THAT SOMEONE COULD JUST BE NICE AND HELP ME, NO NOTHING IS FOR FREE THESE DAYS NOT EVEN A FREAKIN QUESTION!!!!!!

Hi,
You seem to have a deep skin infection above your pubic area. It can be related to a hair follicle inflammation, or oil and sweat glands infection. This abscesses developed from the inflammation of hair follicles above your pubic area, these are common and known as boils, or pus-filled nodules.
Considering the fact that you have fever, and sweats, this are related to the abscess that you have. You should start antibiotic treatment with, topical Mupirocin, and oral treatment with Flucloxacillin 3 times a day for a week, and also , and Ibuprofen three times a day for pain relief, to improve inflammation and fever.
You can also try at home:
- Apply warm compresses
- Wash gently the affected area twice daily with a mild soap
- Avoid wearing irritating and tight wearings.
Based on the description that you gave about the size, if you don't improve after this treatment , in my opinion this abscess should be drained by a doctor.
