Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having non stop headaches for weeks now. Some days are better than others. I ve started wearing my glasses to see if that helps. The pain can be any where from the top of my head, to the back of my head and neck, to my temples or eyes. The pain range from a 1 to 10. Once I lay down at night and wake in the morning, I m usually fine. It starts throughout the day. What should I do?
Hi I had gone through your question and understand your concern. See , the most common reason for persistent headache for long period is refractive error of eyes (in simple terms , your eyesight number has changed). And if it is not cured even by wearing glasses, then most probably your eye number have increased. Also , headache is common in migraine. But migraine headache is very peculiar , as it is mostly one sided or unilateral. So , if you are having complete headache , then you should consult an ophthalmologist, and if there is unilateral or one sided headache , then you should consult a physician. I hope this information was of help. Wish you good health. Thank you.
