Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Dizzy Spells During Night Shifts
I do shift work. Everytime my Graveyard rotation comes up, Im misreable. Sick much more frequently. More prone to mistakes. Frequent headaches, dizzy spells and loss of weight. Is there any medical basis for a Dr to excuse one from working these, or is it likely this is all in my head?
In Short: It takes time to get adjusted for night duties. But night is meant for sleeping which has been programmed in our brain from thousands of years.
Explanation: As you are struggling to get adjusted for night duty, I just want to give tips to be awake and active at night. Sleep for 8-10 hr a day, with proper balanced diet, ten min break every 2 hr and avoid frequent coffee/tea during night. This may help you to get adjusted. For other assistance, contact your local doctor to findout if any abnormality in you. Good luck
