Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Pain After An Injury

I have fell down stairs an hit my upper-right side back with the stair, immediately I got soft headache on my right-head side and also feeling bleeding inside. I checked my back and I have got a very red shadow. The pain is coming from upper back to down back on my right side. It is getting worse on my down-right back. Should I visit the doctor or just take rest and wait for some days?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bleeding can occur as a result of damage to the underlying blood vessels and soft tissue.

It is usually limited and resolves within a week. There may be color changes in this week as the blood under the skin breaks down.

Pain also tends to increase days after an injury occurs.

In most cases, treatment with : (1)rest,
(2)limiting movement ,
(3)ice therapy for the first few days then warmth,
(4)anti inflammatory medication such as naproxen, cataflam or ibuprofen

I hope this helps
