Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Sore Bump On The Forehead

I have been having headaches for about a week and now I have a sore spot on the top right side of my head. I have not been hit that area of my head, however one of my horses bumped my forehead with their chin, but the pain is in a completely different area. Should I be concerned?

Hello,

The sore could be a boil due to the infected hair follicle, which can be very painful and even cause headaches.

In my view, you should get the sore evaluated by a GP and if it is a boil you will be started on painkiller and/or antibiotics.

Most boils over the scalp area regress on their own, but deeper one's can be dangerous and risk the spread of infection to other layers of scalp.

In addition, if you are concerned about any injury to forehead you can mention it to your GP and he can order an x-ray of the head for you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
