Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Twitching Eyes After Getting Hit On Head?
hi i recently fell off my skateboard at about 35 mph no helmet my shoulder hit first, then my head slammed into the concrete. there are no visible contusions on my head but my body is very banged up. this ha[[ened last night.. mheadaches have worsened and now my eye is HEAVILY twitching
Welcome to hcm, I really appreciate your concern, Yes it can be a serious condition, though you haven't see any contusion on the head, there are high number of chances of injury to brain which can be coup or countercoup injury. That can lead to increase cerebral tension which may probably cause the twitching you may be feeling, As per my opinion you should first undergo CT brain which will clear whether there is any injury or not, as a temporary care you can take mannitol iv if your symptoms are very severe please show this to emergency room. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions, Thanks. Regards.
