Suggest Treatment For Headaches, Cold Flashes And Excessive Sleepiness

In August I had my period only five days. In Sept I have not had my monthly. I had a BTL in 2011. I took PT and it was negative. How will I know if it s in my tubes?? I have been having bad headache, sick to my stomach, hot and cold flashs, and sleepy. Is there something else going that can cause the same problems??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Since he needs CPAP, there is a possibility that there are Carbon dioxide retention and oxygen deficiency, that can also lead to weakness and drowsiness not totally compensated by CPAP.
How are his B-12 and vitamin D levels?
Has he had a CT brain. Part of brain called hypothalamus dealing with sleep if affected can cause this.
I am sure you would have tested his blood sugar?
You have to force him to exercise more, and work around the house.
But no harm in ruling out causes listed above.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
