Suggest Treatment For Headaches, Dizziness And Nausea
I have the following symtoms: headache, dizziness all the time, nausea. Three weeks ago I hit my forehead on the roof of a chicken coop, causes a huge goose egg. a few days later the above symtoms began. two weeks pior to injury I was experiencing very stiff neck. Saw my doctor who diagnosed a concussion. the headache, dizziness and nausea has increased. Had a MRI today.
Hello, I know how bothersome it might be to have headaches all the time. Stiff neck might suggest an increased intra cranial pressure after the trauma, so you must follow up for the MRI at the earliest. Anyways with the limited information provided I can recommend you only the basic things. 1) Take adequate rest - Do not strain yourself. Rest by itself will minimize the dizziness you might experience. 2) You can try changing positions very slowly. For eg - avoiding getting up from supine/sleeping position to standing position abruptly. This can minimize the dizziness as well. 3) Take Tylenol or ibuprofen or the drug prescribed by your provider for pain after food. 4) Eat healthy. Salmon, avocado etc. 5) Follow up with your provider if symptoms are progressively worsening or not responding to medications.
