Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss And Tinnitus

Hi sir i have a hearing loss upto 45 decibels in 4k frequency in my left year. Rest of the values are below 25 decibels for every frequency. Will it cause a problem to me in the future? Unfortunately i got slapped in my left year 3 years back and i had tinnitus for 2 hours and eventually recovered. Do you think the frequency loss is due to that reason?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to menier disease.

For further assessment you may require audiometry, detailed ear examination after ENT consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Till then you can take tablet betahistine after consultation.

Avoid sudden head movement.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam kale
