Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss

hi: I have my right ear that has been stopped up for a week now, I went to the pharmacy and Pharmacist told me to use Debrox about three or four times and then to wash it out with a ear syringe. I have done this and nothing is coming out except for the warm water I am putting in. I can t hear anything out that ear. I am 72 years old and I have never had this problem before.
