Suggest Treatment For Heart Burn And Breathing Difficulty

I am a 68 yr. old female. I almost never suffer from heart burn but the sensation I m feeling seems like a significant heart burn. It came on rather suddenly and has continued about 4 1/2 hours. I feel it has lowered from high chest to around the diaphragm and maybe upper gut . I ve eaten nothing I don t eat every morning ( cereal, banana, 1/2 muffin and coffee). I took 2 Tums mid-morning. I had a cardio-version in early December for erratic heartbeat. It worked and tests show a strong heart without blockage. I ve been taking Equis since then. I feel no other symptoms (no difficulty breathing or other discomfort or confusion). I ve had a regular bowel movement this morning. I had colitis 7 or 8 years ago but have had no other symptoms since treatment. I have had a bit of gurgling higher in my stomach. I m 5 8 and weigh 143 lbs. It is very uncomfortable and doesn t seem to be diminishing. Do you have suggestions?
