Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitation, Dizziness, Headache And Body Pain
my mother has been experiencing heart palpitations, dizziness, headaches, some difficulty breathinga, and body aches for the past couple days. She normally has low BP and when she recently checked her BP was at 138/78. She normally does not complain when not feeling well and she is very stubborn and wont go to the ER. With these symptoms should there be reason for concern?
The symptoms she is having can be from different causes. If the symptoms come in episodes that last few minutes then very likely they are due to panic attacks. If the symptoms are constant and present all the time then an infection can be the cause (probably in this case she might have fever, she needs to check her temperature) and rarely it may be due to heart problems or thyroid problems.
If she has the symptoms in episodes of few minutes she can breath in a paper bag and try to relax. If this does not help she will need to see the doctor.
If the symptoms are not episodic but are constant these last days, she needs to see a doctor to determine the cause of them.
I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards, Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
