Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations And Irregular Heartbeat
Hi Lately I have been having heart palpitations and angina which is new for me but I ve always had an irregular heartbeat. Last night I felt like my heart pulled like a muscle and it woke me from my sleep and hurt, I had shortness of breath with it. Also when I take a deep breath my angina hurts worse and my heart feels like it flutters. What could be going on?
Angina is chest pain that occurs when areas of the heart do not have enough blood supply. When the heart is working more, it needs even more blood, this is the reason that angina is initially felt when a person is active and stops or decreases when a person is at rest.
As the heart disease worsens, it then progresses to chest pain at rest but this is not seen initially.
Chest pain on taking a deep breath may be due to: (a) inflammation of the chest wall muscles (b)pleuritis- inflammation of the lining around the lung (c)pericarditis- inflammation of the lining around the heart
It would best to see your doctor for an assessment.
I hope this helps
